Unlike Instagram, Facebook is one source which is supported by almost every single photo book creator. Although this is the best option if you want to get your photo book ready in an instant, there is one catch. In order to store them properly, Facebook compresses pictures, meaning that pictures might get distorted when you resize them in the photo book editor. So, if you are going for outstanding picture quality and/or you have the original pictures stored on your computer or in the cloud, try using those instead.

But if you don’t mind the above disadvantage of Facebook photos, you have two options to import your pictures from your profile: the “easier” way and one with an extra step. When going the easy route, all you have to do is simply allow the selected photo book maker to connect to your Facebook account. Once completed, the creator fetches all your Facebook pictures with their respective albums and presents them to you for further selection. Then you just have to pick the best ones and either arrange them manually or use the auto-fill option.

The second option is for those who don’t want the photo book creator to get their personal data (which is unavoidable if you get your pictures directly from Facebook). In this case you just have to go to your profile and download the pictures either one by one or by fetching an entire album.
