Although Printique's editor is packed full of various customization options, it’s not difficult to understand how it works. First, you choose the cover, shape, size, and paper of the book you want to create.

Then, it’s easy to upload pictures from the device you’re using, cloud storage services, or social media accounts. You can also add photos from your own Printique gallery, which has unlimited photo storage.

Printique provides the option to use autofill, and we found it handy that it’s possible to set the autofill order from old to new, name A to Z, or vice-versa. If you prefer doing everything by yourself, the pictures can be manually placed into the book. It’s easy to make minor modifications to each picture like trimming or adjusting opacity and shadows.

Customization

There are countless backgrounds and photo frames to break the monotony of the dull traditional ones. Plus, you can add text and fun stickers to your books. You may also modify the default layouts and covers in addition to the number of pages and themes in case you change your mind.

As you change the book to your liking, you’ll notice the estimated price of your final product will adjust with it. Along the editing process you can preview your book. Once you’ve finished, you can share your masterpiece on Facebook or send its link to other people who can either view or purchase it.

Unfortunately, editing a photo book is only possible using a desktop or accessing the editor in a mobile browser, although the latter can be a bit tricky to achieve. The editing tool isn’t available on mobile browsers, and the dedicated iOS and Android apps are limited to uploading pictures and ordering photo printings.

Printique provides over 290 themes spread between more than 10 categories including family, travel, wedding, and pets. Nothing that you do with the themes is permanent, so you can always change your mind while you work on your project.

The only confusing thing is that many of these themes can be found under multiple categories. As a result, you may end up choosing a theme from a different category that you then customize into the perfect look and feel for your book.

As with the themes, there are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to photo book types. Still, no matter what type of book you prefer, the first thing you have to choose is the cover. The options are: soft, hard, leather (vegan or genuine leather), or fabric (regular or die-cut) cover.

You can also choose to do an easy book, which basically means Printique will do everything automatically for you. The only thing you need to do is answer their questionnaire as the company personalizes the photo book for you.

After that, you can pick one of the five available paper types your photos will be printed on. Always be sure to decide on the paper in advance because not all paper types are available for all book sizes. Speaking of sizes, there are 15 to choose from depending on the cover type and ranging from 4×4” to 12×15” (in square, landscape, and portrait shapes).

Printique's photo books are somewhat more expensive than the average industry price. The cover and paper type, as well as the number of pages, determine the final price tag. If you select the most cost-friendly cover type for an 8×8” book, the base price of a twenty-page photo book with a soft cover is $29.99, which increases by $2.99 for each additional page.

Books are processed within 2-4 days, after which they are shipped to your doorstep. Besides offering free standard shipping on orders over $100 for most of its products, users can choose from three other delivery types. It’s worth noting that the company only ships to the U.S. and Canada.

In case of an unforeseen defect, Printique offers a full refund if you communicate with them within the first 30 days after receiving your order. The company also offers full refunds if cancellations are made before printing and a 50% refund if the cancellation is made after printing. After shipping, you won’t be refunded if the issue isn’t the company’s fault.

As for promotions, newcomers enjoy 15% off their first order above $75. Moreover, the company often runs occasional discounts, so it’s worth checking the current offers before placing your order.

The unlimited photo storage means that your favorite photos are always accessible and ready to place in a photo book.
