SurfEasy is a Toronto based online privacy company that not only offers a VPN service, but rather a suite of security tools and services. Founded in 2011, the business is now part of Opera Software, the Scandinavian company behind the popular Opera browser. They are one of the cheapest VPN around, and their value rises further if you examine what you get for your money. SurfEasy also offers a free version of their VPN, with no time limit. Even though there is a data cap on this package, this is still quite an advantage to have. Sadly though, the company lacks a good number of locations. Device support is average, but those that are available receive full treatment. However, there is a general lack of advanced features. Users praise the iOS and Android side of service much more than OS, and this became somewhat apparent to us too during our tests. SurfEasy also offers ad-free browsing and secure torrenting. So, there are some drawbacks; but with prices this low, SurfEasy produces a worthwhile offer.

Matchmaker is a remarkable long standing dating site that specializes in quality matchmaking, hence the name. The service was founded back in 1996, and before the drastic rise of the Internet's popularity, Matchmaker's network was counted as one of the largest email networks – a clear sign of acclaim by its members. Currently, Matchmaker is owned by Avalanche, and it expanded to a worldwide user base with more than 10 million profiles. The unique thing about the service is that it utilizes an advanced algorithm to link people, using details such as zip code and personal preferences. Matchmaker welcomes non-American love-seekers as well, since the registration is completely free, but to enjoy the true benefits of the service you need to upgrade to a Gold membership that comes for a monthly fee.

Online accounting solution KashFlow was launched in 2005 in the United Kingdom for the purpose of providing an affordable software for smaller businesses and sole proprietors. Although the company mostly focuses on its British clientele, KashFlow can be purchased by anyone around the globe.

This simple cloud-based software, which exists in three versions, provides you everything you need for running a successful business: easy-to-access invoicing, quick creating of purchases and quotes, starting projects, adding an unlimited number of clients, integrating over 50 apps and services, and automated creation of reports like profit & loss, balance sheets and many more - either on your desktop or on your mobile device.

Furthermore, you get access to 24/7 online support, a detailed knowledge base, and invitations to trainings and webinars either for free or for a certain price. But the best thing of all is KashFlow's pricing which includes a 14-day trial period of the top product of the company and an affordable monthly subscription fee which can be reduced if you refer a friend.

At first glance, Canada-based online accounting solution Wave is nothing special: you can do invoicing, create estimates, bills, add your clients, vendors, products, upload receipts, and check some reports. Upon further examination you will see that the user interface is rather blank; you have to pay for certain additional features, even for live chat and phone support, no profit & loss reports are created, and you are mostly unable to access your account from a mobile device. These all should be warning signs to avoid the software. But Wave has a huge advantage over its competitors: it provides all the major features for every single user free of charge. Furthermore, you can cancel your account any time you want. Therefore, if you are not satisfied with Wave's services, you lose nothing. If you are a sole proprietor or an owner of a small business and you want to get accounting software that knows the basics without spending a fortune, then Wave may be worth a try.
