Main features of Basecamp

Basecamp is a web-based application that enables you to set up a page for a project, and then add users to it so everyone can see what their responsibilities are. You use Basecamp to document everything that happens in a project from beginning to end. It comes with a calendar system that notifies people by email when you add events, and you can attach files to each event. Basecamp lets you create to-do lists and assign tasks to different people. It includes a Daily Recap progress report feature that reviews all actions from the previous day and sends them to your inbox so you can quickly get caught up on the project’s status. It has reporting and time tracking tools to help a manager easily keep on top of a project.

Who is this project management software for?

The Basecamp project management software is suitable for managers in companies who need to organize and supervise the work of people via a web-based interface. Anyone who needs an integrated platform for sending messages, tracking important project milestones and collaborating with partners can benefit from Basecamp. Use it to facilitate discussions

Is Basecamp easy to use?

In Basecamp, 37Signals has created a simplified web-based interface that lets people quickly start working on their projects. For example, you click an event to select it, then add a file to it, and then that file is automatically sent to whoever needs to work with it. Basecamp will also work with mobile apps, extending its convenience to people who need to use it while they are on the go.
