PIA’s iOS VPN app available for both iPhone and iPad users is an elegant solution to adding this extra layer of security to your mobile device. You simply download the app and create an account with Private Internet Access. After you log in with the app you will see a status screen, which is either green when connected to the VPN and secure, or red when you are not.
From this screen, you can also see and change the region from which you appear to be and change it. This feature is especially useful when trying to watch region-locked content on your iOS device. The app is free for you to download on the App Store (or Google Play Store if you’re an Android user), however you will need to sign up for a trial account in order to use it. Private Internet Access’ monthly subscription is quite competitively priced at $6.95 per month, however you can save yourself some money by picking up a one-year subscription for $35.95 or just $2.99 per month.
