VyprVPN Adds Canadian Server, Mac Client and 5GB Dump Truck Storage

VyprVPN (reviews) has introduced three new features for its VPN service to serve its growing customer base even better, and reduced pricing for both of its plans.

First of all there’s the addition of a server in Toronto, Canada that supports all three main protocols (OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec and PPTP). The company already had several server locations in the US, Europe (France, UK, Germany and the Netherlands) and Asia, so now it’s able to give you secure private internet access through an IP location in every main part of the world.

Free 5GB secure dump truck storage

All VyprVPN users, both new and existing customers, now get a free 5GB storage space with their VPN account. This cloud storage is powered by Dump Truck, another product by Golden Frog. Other popular cloud storage and file sharing services such as Dropbox may be giving you free cloud storage as well, but Dump Truck’s advantage is that it boasts the same powerful security infrastructure as VyprVPN. Dump Truck also has an iOS and Android app available along with desktop apps and of course a web app.

Last but not least; new pricing structure

And perhaps best of all, certainly for those who are still in the market for a VPN service, is VyprVPN’s introduction of a new special pricing structure. The services Basic plan is now available for $9.99 per month, the Pro plan is now priced at $14.99. That’s five dollars per month less than before while the features on offer have just been improved.
