The Kindle Fire is a popular device, and people from outside the USA can order one. The problem with the Kindle Fire is that many of the apps available for it are US-only apps. Amazon uses IP addresses to determine that information, which is the same way practically every other company restricts service. That is how they know you are not inside the United States when you try to download an app on the Kindle Fire or try to log into Amazon Prime. This practice is known as “geo-blocking.”
