For many years fax broadcasting – or fax blasting – has been an exclusive feature of the most advanced fax machines or services that are specialized in sending out faxes en masse. Granted, this option is still available to this day but thanks to cloud faxing anyone, even less tech-savvy users, can broadcast a fax campaign with ease.

Admittedly, reading about such strict laws could give anyone the chills but remember that this affects all aspects of faxing – whether that’s traditional fax machines, special services or online faxing solutions – so it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
Fax blasting and online services
Online fax services are certainly a blessing for businesses since all they need is an active subscription and a device capable of connecting to the internet to start broadcasting faxes.
In fact, fax blasting works the same as transmitting to a single person with the only difference being that users are required to add more than one fax number to the list of addressees. Although using an online service for small-scale fax broadcasting is a convenient and affordable means of communication for many businesses, it’s not the only available option. For instance, most modern traditional fax machines provide fax blasting by default, which is a huge asset for those who would rather keep onto their hardware for as long as possible. However, the main problem with this solution is that the line could be kept busy for a long time as fax machines are only capable of sending one message at a time.
This is where fax broadcasting services enter the picture, the best options for sending thousands of fax messages within mere minutes without having to pay a fortune. In fact, most of these services don’t ask for monthly fees but, instead, charge clients for each successful transmission, often giving them discounts for high-volume fax blasting. But this is just the beginning, as clients of fax broadcasting services can schedule, customize and test faxes, provide a toll-free opt-out phone number for their contacts, and even get detailed reports during and after transmission.
Turning to fax broadcasting companies to do the heavy lifting is indeed the only reasonable option when thousands of faxes need to be sent out to hundreds of clients within a short space of time. However, if you it’s only required to send a few pages per month and your clientele is not that extensive, then a simple online faxing service is more than enough to carry out the mission.
