You love your dogs and your cats, you make sure they are fed and have plenty of water, and, hopefully, you give them exercise. Dogs love the outdoors and new places to sniff. You spend time checking food labels on cat and dog foods to insure, in your mind, that they are receiving the best. The same goes for toys, treats, bedding, and even building a doghouse to keep them secure in lousy weather. Yet barely 4 percent of dog owners and 1 percent of cat owners have any type of pet insurance – Yikes! You love your pets, yet have a tendency to ignore the concept of pet insurance, until it’s too late.
