For the landline In-Home version, it was necessary to simply plug the alarm console into a power outlet and telephone jack. If a phone is already in your telephone jack, remove the cable from the phone and connect it instead to the back of the alert system, which has two jacks.

This company is terrible and I will cancel this service at the end of the current contract. My new contract with them started today and I tried to cancel it today and they would not let me. I called them a month ago to see if my aunt’s lavaliere needed a new battery. They said it does not and they would notify me if the battery was low. A week later I tried a test which showed the battery was dead and it turns out the battery has been dead for 10 months. They say they called but I never got a message and they never called again. My 97 year old aunt has had a worthless lanyard for 10 months.Today the woman I spoke to was arrogant and hostile.

Do not pay a full year in advance. Pay only monthly rates. If you pay a full year in advance and the person using this unit should pass 31 days after the payment was made, then you will not be given a refund for the balance. This is their policy as was told to me. In addition to no refund you are required to pay shipping costs and insurance costs to return the unit back to them.
