The German league is one of the strongest in the world with its attractive, solid and fast paced soccer. It features the super favorite Bayern Munich, last year’s champion and German domestic cup winner, the strong rival Borussia Dortmund and its impressively yellow wall of loyal fans as well as other solid teams such as Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Schalke 04, VfL Wolfsburg, among others that will most likely contribute for another exciting season. What’s not exciting though is the fact that not everyone can watch this competition worldwide and, those who can, will sometimes have a real trouble doing so. Don’t leave your seat as we kick off the season with a few tips for your enjoyment.
Bundesliga is covered and broadcasted in pretty much the entire world due to its importance to the European and world soccer. It is broadcasted over most Europe through Eurosport 2, in UK through BT Sport and in Germany through Sky Deutschland. In the US it is available in GoITV and Fox Sports, Rogers in Canada and beIN Sports over Australia. You can watch the Bundesliga online on several of these broadcasters’ websites and some of them even provide mobile apps, although a subscription and log in will be required in order to access the broadcasts.
Despite those “official” broadcasters available worldwide there are others less known as well. The only problem with this is that many of them can be blocked to you due to your geographic location. Don’t worry, there is a way to go around this problem. You will need to use a VPN provider or a smart DNS instead. What a VPN does is letting you access the geo-blocked websites. Let’s say you’re in France and the streaming website you want is blocked in your country but is open in Singapore. You use your VPN to choose a server that’s located in Singapore and then your IP address will be disguised with a Singaporean one. Therefore when you revisit the streaming website it will no longer be blocked.
As an alternative you can use a smart DNS server as well. What this does is directing you to a proxy server from a selected list of websites and services allowing you to equally access the geo-blocked websites. Now you can watch Bundesliga at will on your computer, smartphone, tablet etc. since most VPN and smart DNS providers support multiple operating systems and connections.
