In the ring we have VPN Unlimited vs PureVPN facing off against each other. However, do not think of this as a duel; these two Virtual Private Network (VPN) companies are both capable in their own rights; we intend to illustrate what they are all about, and draw some connections between them. Also, you will get a much clearer picture of how different VPN companies focus on different sides of service, and thus we wish to help you in making a more educated decision. And there are strong sides to both; VPN Unlimited is great at prices, and a lot of leisurely features. PureVPN stands out because of the overall quality of their service, as well as the number of locations they provide.

VPN Unlimited’s attractive pricing is mainly because of its great holiday discounts. They offer a lifetime subscription plan that will let you use their services forever (or until it lasts). This usually costs $500, but during holidays, you can very often see lower prices for this lifetime option; they tend to go as low as $39, which is what you would pay for an one-year subscription with most other companies. For a lifetime of VPN, this is very, very generous. Your advantages will include unlimited bandwidth, five devices to use at the same time, auto-connecting to the best server available and a decent list of countries. These indicate that VPN Unlimited is also very easy to use.
However, speeds are not that good, and there is a slight issue with security. None of the software available for the company gives you any indication as to what safety protocol you are using. Given the low speeds, this is most probably OpenVPN, though. You should also keep in mind that VPN Unlimited does not have a no log policy.
PureVPN is a well-known, quality VPN service. They excel both in unblocking and protecting your connection. For shielding, you have all the main security protocols at your disposal; from PPTP (not recommended) to OpenVPN (the safest today). Additionally, you can also utilize the kill switch tool of the company, saving you in situations where you – by some slim chance – run into trouble with your VPN connection.
PureVPN has one of the most extensive lists of locations. You can connect to up to 141 different states of the world. This is impressive, and if you think about the fact that once you swap to the IP address of a given country, you unblock the entire online content of it… well, that creates a lifetime’s worth of access to content. We must also praise the various software PureVPN provides for customers, let it be clients or applications. They are easy to use and present themselves with a polished look. What is more, the speed values are similarly great, along with the stability of service.
Therefore, both VPN Unlimited and PureVPN are capable, well-established companies. Their only big negative side is that neither of them has a true no log policy. Of course, you cannot just ignore storing information as a company, but these two are also interested in data other than personal information. Besides this turn-off, you have every reason to consider both of them. We suggest VPN Unlimited if you are interested in very long-term investments or if you just seek a relaxed VPN experience. PureVPN will add some milk to your bath, though; with massively increased access and speeds, you can find more specific uses for this product. Nevertheless, the worst you can expect is a minor disappointment in both cases.
