Managed VPS services

LiquidWeb offers managed VPS hosting solutions. These services include dedicated servers and you can either choose Linux or Windows operating systems. These fully managed VPS servers come in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB setups.

Server locations

LiquidWeb owns three data centers and manages them on its own. The data centers are in Michigan and Arizona and are in compliance with SSAE-16. Having a self-owned and managed data center allows them to be able to perform hardware level upgrades whenever needed, without having to rely on third parties. With sophisticated on-site security, cooling solutions and power options, their data centers are certainly some of the best available today.

Operating system choices

LiquidWeb offers the choice of both Linux and Windows platforms for you to run your server. In the fully managed plans, either CentOS (v6.2) or Windows Server 2008 (Rev2, Service Pack 1) can be chosen, and in the self-managed options, Ubuntu (11.10), Debian (v6) or ArchLinux (v 2012.03.15) can be deployed.

Plans and pricing

As mentioned before, the Storm VPS servers from LiquidWeb come in 4 flavors: 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. All plans come with 2TB of bandwidth transfer capacity.

• The 1GB variant employs a Storm Server with 1 CPU, 75GB disk storage and 880MB RAM. This plan is available at $50.00 per month.
• The 2GB plan comes with a Storm Server with 1 CPU, 150GB disk storage and 1750MB RAM. This plan is available at $90.00 per month.
• The 4GB variant comes with 2 CPUs, 300GB disk storage, and 3500MB RAM. This plan is available at $150.00 per month.
• The final 8GB variant offers 600GB storage with 6900MB of RAM, and 4 CPUS at a monthly price of $270.00.

It should be noted that these prices do not include any extra support, software or management fees that may be levied, based on the set up that you choose.

Fully managed support comes with full hardware and software management services; it comes with cPanel and third party support as well. Core managed support gives you full hardware and software support, and the self-managed plan will offer the same and only full hardware support.
