With IPVanish’s continuous commitment to provide the most comprehensive network for its clients, they have recently introduced a further eight servers in seven countries. This update comes just little after it already added 9 new servers in the US to handle more traffic for the Super Bowl and other popular media events. The addition of these servers provided buffer-free live serving for all their clients tuning into the big game, ensuring enough bandwidth for those on the existing servers to be able to view the match without any residual effect. On the Monday morning, these extra servers were decommissioned and upgrading of the six original servers in Phoenix Arizona began.
For the technically minded, the single CPU boxes providing 14G of RAM, were upgraded to dual quad-core CPU’s, providing 24G of RAM. During this period, two additional servers were commissioned in Phoenix bringing the total to eight.
To continue its pledge to increasing its global presence, while upgrading and improving its United States network, a further six servers were commissioned
In line with its policy of global commitment to its clients, providing the most secure connections and fastest speeds, IPVanish now boasts over 160 servers located in 60 countries.
