Could you tell us a bit more about yourself and what you do at FreshBooks?
I’m Gary Mirsky and I’m Senior Director of Partnerships & Distribution at FreshBooks. I’m responsible for helping build out our non-direct channels. This includes working with different integration partners (like PayPal and Google) and working with key influencers of our product, such as accountants and bookkeepers.
How will you keep FreshBooks simple to use despite while adding new functionalities?
We will only add new features that are in response to requests from customers and in line with the FreshBooks‘ goal to provide easy to use accounting that’s specifically designed for service-based small business owners.
What further integrations will we see between FreshBooks and other apps?
We don’t discuss future releases or integrations, so unfortunately I can’t say at this time.
A classic: Why should people choose FreshBooks and not one of your competitors?
If you’re a service-based small business owner with one to nine employees, FreshBooks is designed for you. The software is easy to use, can be accessed anywhere including on an iPhone or iPad, saves time billing and includes amazing customer support. Users can easily get paid online, setup recurring invoices and online auto payments.

Expense tracking features include attaching PDF or image receipts and recurring expenses. With time tracking, users can track unbilled time and assign different rates for each project. Accounting reports and taxes include profit and loss, accounts aging and expense reports.
