CactusVPN is taking a different approach on growing its VPN service and does so by introducing the SoftEther VPN protocol to its customers rather than focusing on more servers and IP’s. SoftEther is a brand new protocol that is set to become an alternative to OpenVPN, it was developed as an academic project at the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
