October and November have been busy months for the IPVanish team. The company is continuing the growth of their VPN network with the introduction of seven new servers of which one server is located in Indonesia, a country that’s new to their service. Along with this lucky number of new locations, their Windows client has received an update with plenty of new options and bug fixes.
From now on OpenVPN is a standard option in your client, and you’ll easily see the status of your VPN connection in your task bar. Now that the software will not be pinging its servers all the time while connected, so you’ll be surfing your VPNs even faster now. A handy addition is that this latest version of the software remembers the previous VPN protocol you used to speed up the process of connecting to a VPN.
