VPNhub vs NordVPN Comparison

As the internet becomes more and more a crucial part of our life, new VPN providers arise often to ensure safe and sound online navigation. And while it’s always good to add more diversity to an industry that doesn’t stop growing, it also has the negative effect of making it harder to choose the product we want the most. VPNhub, for instance, is a provider that debuted when the market was already cluttered with solid alternatives that took years and a lot of investment to conquer their ground, such as how industry leader NordVPN has spent years doing. However, both can do wonders to your online security, but money is hard to come by and so your purchases must be planned carefully. So, which one has what it takes to win your confidence?

VPNhub

If proof was needed that we’re living in crazy times and that companies can change their game drastically, then VPNhub is it. Released in 2018 and developed by the same people behind the adult website Pornhub, believe it or not. The provider offers an intuitive app for Windows and Mac computers, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. These programs allow for a decent level of customization for changes to protocols and encryption cyphers, for instance, or to enable an obfuscation feature.

VPNhub

VPNhub’s network covers 49 countries across the entire world and even features some uncommon locations. Unfortunately, the server performance is inconsistent and sometimes IP addresses are not attributed correctly, but the good news is there are no problems with DNS leaks.

Rather strangely, the company’s quite unusual pricing policy divides the different countries into economic tiers, with higher costs for richer countries. US-residents will pay $14.99 per month or $89.99 per year, for example. However, VPNhub offers a seven-day free trial of the entire suite, which is a great way to test everything before subscribing to any of these options.

NordVPN

The VPN market is filled with great providers, but only a few have what it takes to remain consistently on the top of the chart. NordVPN is one of those, a Panamanian company that is used to great compliments given its extraordinary service that offers consistent speeds on over 5,000 servers in more than 60 countries. Some of these servers are even suitable for P2P sharing or Onion over VPN, while others have double VPN capabilities, and much more. Furthermore, NordVPN also excels with its attractive apps for computers and mobile devices that are easy to use and also allow for a great user interaction. The package even comes with browser extensions and manual configurations for routers as an option, too.

And the best of all is how a NordVPN subscription costs only $2.99 per month when opting for the three-year deal, though there are other plans for shorter commitments, too. None of them come with any service restrictions, however. All users are invited to try the service before purchasing by making use of the seven-day free trial or the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Conclusion

No one likes seeing an unbalanced dispute, but unfortunately this is one of those cases. There are only a couple of VPN providers than can compete with NordVPN and unfortunately VPNhub is not one of them just yet. There’s no reason for shame, really, as the Panamanian company is one of the best in the world and its server-packed service with support for P2P, double VPN and other special situations is hard to beat. VPNhub certainly manages to deliver a great looking app that is suitable for all kinds of users, but so does NordVPN with many more added features, servers, a greater device support, and better overall experience – all of this at lower prices, too.

Even though the more recent service from VPNhub has the potential to become much better in the future, it has to improve its arsenal and win many smaller battles before it can start a war against tougher opponents. And, in that matter, it can look towards NordVPN as an example.
