SpeedUpMyPC is brought to you by Uniblue, a company behind many computer optimization solutions such as MaxiDisk, DriverScanner, and the almighty PowerSuite. Its registry cleaner, SpeedUpMyPC, can be described as 2-in-1 software since it serves both registry cleaning and PC optimization purposes for Windows OS’ from XP and up. Although certain features (the registry or disk defragmentation, uninstaller, duplicate finder etc.) are not present, it still gets the job done in a decent manner thanks to fast scans, an appealing client and the possibility of restoring any previous settings, deleted files or registry fixes. And to conquer your trust once and for all, it also has a nice pricing policy and quite unusual deals to offer, aside from a free trial version, available for an unlimited time for mostly scanning purposes and a 60-day money back guarantee.
Uniblue SpeedUpMyPC is no longer available.

From a feature-oriented point of view SpeedUpMyPC is a two-edged sword. Compared to similar software we cannot help but notice the lack of features. Quite unusually, even such basic features like the registry and disk defragmentation tool, the uninstaller and the duplicate finder are missing. Omitting crucial features from the registry cleaner is a clear sign of Uniblue wanting you to invest in PowerSuite, the most complete and expensive service the company offers. On the other hand though, the features that the program does have work pretty well. After each scan you are able to check and edit the error log, where you can go through the errors one by one and add those marked important to the ignore list to avoid deletion. In that regard, you can also use the undo changes function that works remarkably well in restoring deleted files and previous registry configurations. When visiting the settings you not just have access to the aforementioned ignore list to manage its content, but you can also perform other tasks such as scheduling scans, making SpeedUpMyPC launch on Windows startup, setting up a proxy, etc.

Unfortunately you cannot edit any scanning patterns, meaning that by default every single part of your Windows computer is thoroughly examined the moment you start scanning. Notwithstanding, this provider gives one of the fastest and most stable scans of the market: during our test SpeedUpMyPC found 587 issues under a tad more than a minute. It’s good to know that scanning results include Windows registry errors such as broken DLLs and other registry specific items and performance issues like unused processes. Scans also indicate startup programs that you can disable in order to make your computer boot faster, and, of course, the amount of junk files you have in your system.

Like we said before, you can get access to the entire list of issues found during scans and check their details one by one. Registry errors for instance are categorized as system, user and third party related errors. Although you cannot repair or delete errors individually, there is the option to add any of them to the ignore list and leave it untouched when SpeedUpMyPC heads out for an error hunt.
When you gathered everything you want to fix, you can clean your entire device in seconds. Quite remarkably, the performance of the repairing function is even faster than the scanning itself. Granted, the more errors SpeedUpMyPC has to fix, the longer the process will take. In our case, most registry issues were fixed in less than 10 seconds. Fortunately, all actions are undoable: you just have to visit the designated menu in Settings, and tick the boxes of the files you want to be restored or choose the backup file created upon repairing the registry. And as a nice addition to the above, you can check a summary of how useful the program was since you installed it by clicking on the Scorecard item in the top right corner of your client.
SpeedUpMyPC’s prices, which can be paid using credit cards or PayPal, are a bit tricky, but in a very positive sense. The only plan available is the annual subscription that costs $29.95 for a single license, but that license includes SpeedUpMyPC for three PCs. In other words you’ll pay around $0.83 per month per computer SpeedUpMyPC is installed on.
And believe it or not, this is just the beginning. If you purchase the full product, you can enjoy a 60-day money back guarantee and a lifetime subscription for SystemTweaker, another computer optimization tool by Uniblue. However, if you are looking for a free solution, SpeedUpMyPC is also available for an unlimited time for free, although that version is only able to perform scans and give access to a couple of features.
Living up to its name, Uniblue provides notable customer support through which you can get your questions answered in various ways. If you need help in solving a more general problem, the complete FAQ page should do the trick for you. However, if your question is more specific, you can always opt for the live chat (which was offline every time we tried to contact the company), make a toll-free phone call or submit a support ticket which is guaranteed to be answered within one business day. You can also visit Uniblue’s website to download various user guides or you can turn to the company’s Facebook page if you are interested in product updates and other news related to SpeedUpMyPC or Uniblue.
Even though SpeedUpMyPC is a good solution for registry cleaning, it is quite sad that Uniblue didn’t add more features to it besides cleaning your computer’s junk and fixing your registry and it also pays more attention to another product. Nonetheless, SpeedUpMyPC is quite the decent registry cleaner that proves to be one of the fastest on the market in terms of scanning and especially repairing. Aside from that the program provides a very useful undo changes feature that works remarkably well and it also has a client that is extremely easy to use. And if we take into consideration the reasonable pricing (with the generous 60-day money back guarantee) that allows you to use the program on 3 PCs at the same time, the free version providing free scans, and the good customer support, SpeedUpMyPC is definitely worth recommending.
