Uniblue Registry Booster is one type of registry repair software that scans your system to remove useless and damaging registry entries and change other entries, improving your computer’s performance. It’s one way to help your slow PC run faster, as this registry cleaning function is also a feature in Uniblue’s Powersuite Pro software bundle that gives you a full set of tools to optimize your PC. Registry Booster works on Windows XP, Vista and 7 systems, but is not yet available for Windows 8.
Uniblue Registry Booster is no longer available.

It does its work in three simple steps: a scan, during which it automatically finds registry errors; then a process where it removes unneeded registry entries and alters other entries; and finally a registry defragmentation, during which it relocates registry entries that should be adjacent to each other or farther apart for smoother, faster performance. It’s very easy to use: just install it and run it.
One thing Registry Booster could use that it doesn’t have is an undo feature. No matter how well-designed a software is, sometimes it causes your system to break because of your system’s peculiarities, and in those cases it’s good to be able to roll back any changes you made.
Registry Booster is part of several Uniblue packages that are available on a one-year license. The Uniblue PowerSuite Pro 2013 is currently on discount at $59.95 per year and includes not only Registry Booster, but also several other programs that can help you run your computer faster.
Registry Booster can be installed in one of 13 languages and the install is fairly quick. It’s easy to use, with an intuitive guided interface and several clearly outlined options. The Uniblue website does not offer a listing of benchmarks prior to and after use of Registry Booster, so its effectiveness is difficult to evaluate without installing it and using it; but effectiveness varies from computer to computer anyway.
Customer service is rudimentary but workable, with the user first being directed to a self-service knowledge database and then given the opportunity to create an email support ticket that receives a response within two days. There is no online support available.
