Overview comparison for Medical Alert, Philips Lifeline

Medical Alert

Founded in 1977, Connect America has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau and it holds an Underwriters Laboratories certification. The company has three medical alert systems: At Home Landline, which is connected through a landline, At Home No Landline, connected via a cellular network, and On The Go, which is connected through a cellular network and has GPS location services.

This last device is especially useful for seniors who are more active outdoors and like to travel. It also provides security for when the individual is at home. All these three devices come with fall detection. Connect America’s cheapest plan is priced at $18.29 monthly if an entire year is purchased. The Medical Alert line has great monitoring equipment, which is by far this provider’s best asset. Operators are trained to work in the International Language Line in 140 languages.

Conclusion

Medical Alert and Philips Lifeline are two medical alert system lines with decades of experience on the market. Medical Alert has great prices and all of its products have fall detection. At the same time, Philips Lifeline, even though it has slightly higher prices, is backed by a famous brand that builds consumers’ trust.
