Both Gusto and Paychex are remarkable examples of payroll software, but for smaller businesses Gusto should have a greater appeal. Certainly, it’s the easiest to use of the two, with the most user-friendly interface, and it’s the cheaper option. Gusto is also robust and has plenty of integrations that will become even more useful as a company expands. However, for bigger businesses Paychex is the better option. The range of features is staggering, and the platform goes beyond expert payroll thanks to the huge list of integrations. Of course, all this comes at a price so anyone looking to save money on their payroll software may want to stay clear.
