Amazon Home Service is an ideal place to hire handymen for in-home and outside jobs around the house, whether it’s plumbing, house cleaning or setting up smart devices. Service providers benefit equally from becoming a verified member – albeit they have to pay a price for every gig they win in the form of a service fee. And it does matter how big the price of the job is: if it is $1,000 or less you have to pay 20% of the amount to Amazon. However, winning a gig that exceeds $1,000, Amazon waives half of said fee, meaning that you only need to pay 10%.
